The Typical Himalayan Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd is a team from the mountainous area of Nepal. We are looking to exchange and promote the local culture and nature. We have been organizing various activities as per the interest of travelers around the world.
As mountain dwellers, we have been especially providing trekking and climbing services in the highland. We are not the only trip organizer, but also professional guide. We have been guiding the groups in all trekking areas of Nepal.
Our emphasis has been on providing quality service to our clients in a transparent manner. And we treat our clients as a friend instead of the customer. We are always flexible with our clients as much as possible. Our almost all groups are mouth to mouth base clients.

Our Team
Sanam Sherpa
Managing Director
He has engaged in tourism for more than 15 years and running his own trekking company as well. He is originally from the mountainous area of Nepal. He has been still guiding treks in different parts of Nepal. As a mountain dweller and trekking guide himself, he has pretty good knowledge and experience organizing and handling the tour and treks throughout the country and in some other countries. He is always committed to the safety of the client and quality service transparently. He manages all corresponding, budgeting, and confirming of the trip. Travelling is his own hobby as well. He keeps exploring different parts of the country and occasionally abroad as well. He has completed a Master’s degree in Public Administration from TU of Nepal.
Sundar Sherpa
Executive Director/ Co-founder
He is also from out of Kathmandu valley and a former trekking guide in Nepal. Currently, he lives in Seattle, USA. He is post-graduated from the US and has a good command of English.
He plays a vital role to build up business relations and the growth of the company. He loves travelling and goes hiking almost every weekend.
Sunil Manandhar
IT manager
He is from Kathmandu valley and has been working in one of the most established international IT companies as well. He is a master’s degree in Management from TU of Nepal. He has advanced knowledge and experience in the IT sector. And he is a regular traveller and an excellent photographer as well.
Sange Sherpa
Trekking Guide
He is from the Shailung hilly region of Nepal. He has been working in the tourism sector for more than 20 years. Initially,
he started his job as a trekking porter and was promoted from assistant guide to full Guide. He has trekked to all trekking places throughout
Nepal and even mounts Kailash in Tibet. He is really experienced and reliable licensed holder guide of the company since 2012.
Jit bahadur Rai
Trekking Guide
He is from the Everest region and works as a trekking guide in Typical Himalayan Treks & Expd. Pvt. Ltd. during season time. He has also more than 20 years of experience in the trekking field, especially in the Everest region. He was initially a trekking porter and slowly upgraded from assistant guide to full guide. He is a really strong and responsible license holder guide of the company since 2014.
Harka Man Rai

Harka Man Rai is also from the Everest region. Initially, he also started the job as a trekking porter and was promoted from assistant guide to full Guide. He has also more than 10 years of trekking experience in all popular trekking areas. He is a cool and dedicated license holder guide of the company since 2016.
Gelbu Sherpa
Trekking Guide and Cook
Gelbu Sherpa is also from Shailung, out of Kathmandu valley. He is a professional cook as well as a trekking guide. He started his job as a cook and assistant guide, then upgraded to full guide these days. He is a really funny and responsible licensed holder guide of the company since 2018. He has also already guided in all popular trekking areas of Nepal
